From the Vegetables business unit, we are seeking a Balkans & Greece Area Sales Manager. The position is required to be based in Greece.

 

What will be your responsibilities?

  • Oversee and expand the sales of FITO seeds to enhance market presence within the designated area.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with a significant portfolio of customers distributing FITO vegetable seeds, focusing on overall business growth.
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives to solidify our presence in the region, fostering trustworthy partnerships with stakeholders in the vegetable seed industry, including distributors, growers, plant raisers, and dealers.
  • Lead and develop a professional team across the region, with potential for expansion.
  • Formulate and execute a comprehensive Marketing Plan for the vegetable seeds division, tailored to the specific needs and dynamics of the region.
  • Establish, execute key Marketing Strategies, and Action Plans for FITO seeds, targeting team alignment, customer engagement, and regional market penetration.
  • Meet or exceed the annual Sales Budget for the region by having the optimum approach internally and with customers.
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of all FITO crop varieties and engage with our R&D team, and product development teams, for product and market development.
  • Maintain consistent communication with key stakeholders within Fito by collaborating closely with product development teams across all organizational levels.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and leadership to all direct reports located in several countries.
  • Setting objectives and follow closely the team development, to achieve the targeted goals.

Requisitos

You are the talent we are looking for if you...

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or related field.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in sales and marketing, specifically within the vegetable seeds and agricultural sectors.
  • You do have deep understanding and previous working experience in the vegetable seed industry.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively, including but not limited to East European countries but beyond as required by business needs.
  • It is required that the candidate selected speaks Greek natively. Also, strong English skills are essential. It will be positively valuable other languages spoken
