From the VEGETABLES business unit, we need to incorporate a SALES AREA MANAGER INDIA (SEVEN STATES).


What will be your Position Purpose:

This position is key to the India market because provides strategy, sales support and manage a Team.


What will be your responsibilities?

  • Developing a business plan that covers sales, collections and expense control.
  • Consider a bottom-up sales approach for the development and implementation of the company's annual sales plan
  • Tracking sales goals and reporting results
  • Implementing the company’s sales policies at the field level and enforcing disciplinary actions
  • Analysing sales trends across the industry to develop effective strategies and optimise the current ones
  • Helping hiring and training sales teams in different regions to keep up with sales goals
  • Developing the sales team through motivation, counselling, and product knowledge education
  • Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand
  • Collect and maintain sale data of each crop in the respective área. Crop-wise positioning of the company's product in areas with high sales potential.
  • Helps develop dealer and distributor networks to meet sales targets and maintains relationships with key farmers and dealers.
  • Authorised to represent company in different trade fairs, government relations and associations related to seed industry at local level.
  • Coordinate trials between the research and sales teams. Guarantee the trial plan implementation making sure it is perfectly deployed and following all protocols and providing meaningful technical information to crops specialists while evaluating the new varieties
  • Give support to the crop specialists in defining the reference areas by crop, the number of trials within each reference area and the best farmers to conduct the trials.
  • Responsible for communicating any official announcement made from company (Sales policy, price list, account statements etc.), to the dealers.
  • Responsible for inventory management at dealer/retailer points
  • Management of own key accounts.

Requisitos

You are the talent we are looking for if you...

  • You do have a Degree or a Masters in Agriculture specialization
  • 10 years of experience are required to fit in this role
  • You do have Availability to Travel
